WESTBEACH SNOWFLEX SERIES

Organised by Wayne Taylor and Gary Pickburn, the 2007 Westbeach Snowflex Freestyle Championships will span three UK slopes and culminate in the final at the Stadt de Glisse in Noeux-les-Mines, France:

• DONE - Halifax Ski and Snowboard Centre - 26th May 2007 (Bradford Old Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX3 6UG)
• DONE - Dorset Snowsports Centre - 16th June 2007 (Warmwell, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 8JE)
• DONE - Bearsden Ski and Board - 28th July 2007 (The Mound, Stockiemuir Road, Glasgow G613RS)
• Nœux Les Mines Stadt de Glisse - 20th October 2007 (Loisinord Ski Slope, Nœux Les Mines, Nord-pas-de-Calais, France)

All events will run to the same basic format. Skiers and Snowboarders will ride together. Changes may be made to accommodate the amount of riders/skiers entered in each category:

Practice - 1000 - 1300
Registration - 1200 - 1300
Under 16 and Women JAM SESSION - 1300 - 1345
Men JAM SESSION - 1400 - 1445
Under 16 and Women FINAL JAM SESSION - 1500 - 1545
Men FINAL JAM SESSION - 1400 - 1445
FINAL 2 runs, 3 riders per group - 1530

Categories include:

Under 16 Girls - Ski
Womens Open - Ski
Under 16 Boys - Ski
Mens Open - Ski

The competition is open to all ability’s and ages and is £20 for adults and £15 juniors.

BRITISH SNOW TOUR

Following five very successful years of the AIM Series, that has witnessed over 1000 competitors, visited over 50 schools and introduced over 4,000 newcomers to snowsports, the National Championship circuit has become the British Snowboard and Freeski Tour 2007 will also boast new features including seven domestic competitions, two brand new venues, Friday night demo’s, free coaching sessions with the UK’s leading professional athletes as well as exclusive snowboard and freeski video premieres and parties.

By adding two new venues, Norwich and Chatham, and incorporating a dedicated schools tour program, which takes professional athletes and Olympians into the classroom, the British Snowboard and Freeski Tour 2007 hopes to create new breeding grounds for emerging talent and continue to provide a path from grass roots participation through to international competition.

• Sunday 23rd September 2007: Norwich - Trespass Artificial Snowboardcross Championships plus Big Air, 9am - 6pm
• Saturday 29th September 2007: Warmwell - Quiksilver Artificial Snowboard Big Air Championships & Quarterpipe, 9am - 6pm
• Sunday 30th September 2007: Warmwell - Quiksilver Ski Artificial Big Air Championships & Quarterpipe, 9am - 6pm
• Saturday 6th October 2007: SNO!zone, Castleford - Animal Indoor Ski & Snowboard lopestyle Championships, 9am - 6pm
• Saturday 13th October 2007: SNO!zone, Milton Keynes - Trespass Indoor Skiercross & Snowboardcross Championships & Slopestyle, 9am - 6pm
• Friday 26th October 2007: Metro Ski and Snowboard Show - Best of British Invitational
• Saturday 3rd November 2007: SNO!zone, Glasgow - Quiksilver Indoor Ski and Snowboard Big Air Championships, 9am - 6pm
• Saturday 29 March - Saturday 5 April 2008 (TBC): Laax, Switzerland - The BRITS

FARMER'S JAM

The Farmers' Jam takes place at the Norfolk Ski Club Snowflex Slope in Norwich, Norfolk on 8th and 9th September 2007.

BRITISH SKI + BOARD SHOW MANCHESTER

The Global Snow Shows run in Birmingham and Manchester each year. The Manchester show will run from 6-7 October 2007 at the Manchester G-MEX.

METRO SKI AND SNOWBOARD SHOW

The Metro Ski and Snowboard Show is the largest consumer Wintersports show in Europe, with over 40,000 people attending last year. It will run from 24 October 2007 to 28 October 2007 this year, at Olympia, Kensington, London.

BRITISH SKI + BOARD SHOW BIRMINGHAM

The Global Snow Shows run in Birmingham and Manchester each year. The Birmingham show will run from 2-4 November 2007 at the NEC Birmingham.
