TOURPARTY HOLIDAY & TOURPARTY FREESTYLE & FREERIDE CAMP APRIL 2006 FEEDBACK
 We're just back from a brilliant trip to Les Deux Alpes. We had a fantastic group of 25 skiers, and an excellent team of freestyle/freeride coaches including Gav Carruthers, Rick Hutchings, Glen Lawley and Pat Sharples plus Pro skiers like Paddy Graham, Eddie "Slavemonkey" Thelwell, Gaute Haaker and Murray Buchan... the weather was incredible with bluebird skies almost everyday, the resort and snow park couldn't have been better, the atmosphere was brilliant... the whole thing beat all our expectations!
A full report, photos and film footage will be available online soon; the photos on here are just a small selection from the day mid-week when the weather closed in and a smaller group of us went up the mountain while the others rested, ready for the bluebird skies and great conditions in powder snow that we got the next day!
While we wait for the full report we thought you might be interested to see the feedback... to help us improve what we do and offer the best possible value for money we asked all those participating on this year’s Tourparty Camp to give us their comments and feedback, positive and critical. Although mostly guys we did have one girl on the Camp this year, and the age range was 11 years to 49 years (mostly 14-17 years).
These are the responses we received to our questionnaire, unedited, just as they were given to us. If this doesn't convince you to sign up immediately for the next trip... nothing will!
First, we asked the participants to give a rating to key aspects of the Camp, from the quality of the coaching to the hotel:
- The quality of coaching: 100% rated the quality of coaching as “excellent”;
- Skills they learnt: 100% rated the skills they learnt as either “good” or “excellent”;
- How much they improved: 94% rated their improvement as either “good” or “excellent”;
- The fun factor: 100% rated the fun factor as “excellent”;
 - The coaches/camp staff: 100% rated the Camp staff as either “good” or “excellent”, 88% rated them as “excellent”;
- The atmosphere on the Camp: 100% rated the atmosphere as either “good” or “excellent”, 88% rated it as “excellent”;
- The resort - Les Deux Alpes: 100% rated Les Deux Alpes as either “good” or “excellent”, 74% rated it “excellent”;
- The hotel - La Belle Etoile Hotel: 100% rated the 3 star hotel La Belle Etoile as either “good” or “excellent”;
- The food - buffet breakfast, packed lunch, 4 course dinner: 65% rated the food as either “good” or “excellent”;
- The bowling (a mid-week evening activity): 100% rated the bowling activity as either “good” or “excellent”;
- The organisation of the Camp: 94% rated the organisation as either “good” or “excellent”.
Then we asked the participants for their feedback on various questions, like why they came on the Camp, how the Camp compared to other ski camps and skiing holidays they had experienced etc:
Why did you come on the Camp?
 - “To progress my overall skiing and meet like minded folk.” (Freestyle Camp 06, 25 years old)
