EVERYTHING YOU NEED...

Having decided on your accommodation options you need to decide which "Optional Extras" you want to buy through Tourparty, all priced as competitively as possible. Tourparty is able to offer:

• Equipment Hire and Ski & Snowboard Lessons
• Lift Passes
• Tourparty Freeride & Freestyle Ski and Snowboard Camp
• Transportation to and from the UK

Please note that the Tourparty Camp can be booked by anyone on holiday in the resort, you do not have to book accommodation through Tourparty, you can make your own arrangements.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS AVAILABLE FROM TOURPARTY

EQUIPMENT HIRE AND SKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONS

If you require anything else during your stay, such as ski or snowboard lessons or childcare or ski and snowboard and boot hire we will do everything we can to help you make the arrangements. Les Deuz Alpes has a large number of services, shops, facilities and ski schools.

We can arrange equipment hire. Ski and ski boot hire normal ranges from £60-£120 and Snowboard and snowboard boot hire from £70-£105 depending on the level and quality of the equipment. Helmets are also available for hire.

We can also arrange ski and snowboard lessons with a local ski school. You can choose from private lessons and morning and afternoon group lessons. Generally morning ski school costs in the region of £90-£100 for adults and £70-£80 for children, morning snowboard lessons cost in the region of £100-£110 for adults and £90-£100 for children.

LIFT PASSES

Standard 6 day Lift Passes and the 7 day Lift Pass are available for those not booking the TeenSki package (a 7 day Lift Pass is included in the price of the TeenSki packages).

The 7 day Lift Pass gives an extra half day of skiing on the final Saturday (or a full day, depending when you plan to depart).

You don't have to arrange lift passes through us but is will be more convenient for you if you do. It will not be any cheaper for you to buy them separately. Children's prices are available for those aged 5-12 years.

If you are attending the Tourparty Freeride & Freestyle Ski and Snowboard Camp you will need a 7 day Lift Pass.

TOURPARTY FREESTYLE & FREERIDE SKI AND SNOWBOARD CAMP

You can book the Tourparty Freeride & Freestyle Ski and Snowboard Camp separately. You do not have to book accommodation or anything else with Tourparty in order to attend the Tourparty Camp, you can make your own accommodation arrangements if you want.

However if you are booking accommodation and other parts of your holiday with Tourparty (through the GroupSki or AdSki packages) don't forget to reserve the places you want on the Tourparty Camp too as these are optional extras and need to be booked separately. (If you are booking a place on the TeenSki package you do not have to book Tourparty separately, it is included in the TeenSki package.)

Remember, these prices include expert Coaching over 7 days, video reviews, the trip to Alpe D'Huez, prizes etc. The only things not included are your 7 day lift pass, your equipment, your insurance and your lunch! Please ensure you purchase a 7 day lift pass, whether through Tourparty or in resort.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation for the day-trip to Alpe D'Huez is included in the price of all holiday accommodation and the Tourparty Camp.

Transportation to and from the UK is not included (except as an option in the TeenSki packages), so you are free to make your own arrangements for travelling from wherever you live in the world to Les Deux Alpes in France, arriving in the afternoon on the Saturday and departing the following Saturday (ideally in the afternoon or evening).

Alternatively you can choose to travel with us by Executive Coach (or Minibus) for an extra payment.

This will be a "door to door" service, the coach will start in Edinburgh early on the Friday and make pick-ups at service stations along the M1, M25, M20.

We will arrive in resort early afternoon on the Saturday. For the return we will leave late afternoon on the Saturday (making drop-offs along the M20, M25 and M1) arriving back in Edinburgh on the Sunday evening.

It is a long journey but nothing like as far as going to Austria or Italy and we didn't find it as bad as we thought when we did it in April 2006! As we are travelling overnight you can sleep through most of it and watch videos the rest of the time. We will take plenty of rest stops too.

INSURANCE

Insurance is not included but is essential, please ensure all those travelling have sufficient insurance in case of emergency. Most standard winter holiday insurance packages cover all skiing on-piste (including freestyle skiing in the snow park) and also off-piste skiing in patrolled areas. You should not need to buy any special insurance cover for freestyle and freeride skiing.

Snowsports are by their nature a risky and potentially life-threatening activity. In coming on this holiday and/or participating in the Tourparty Camp you understand and accept this and neither you nor your family will not hold Tourparty or their staff or sponsors responsible for anything that may happen to you.
