Or if you prefer to hang out in the park all day, the DS bus will provide fast, convenient transport to the fun park at Kitzbuheler Horn in less than 15 minutes. The local lift company have promised a LOUD music system, deck chairs etc and top quality grooming throughout our stay... sick! Then after skiing or boarding all day you can ski to the front door of Club Habitat (just 250m from the Gaisberg Ski-lift) and reward yourself with a cold beer! Don't forget - we'll have a sneak preview of 2006's skis, the Pro riders will be with us all week to share their pro tips, and free ski-guiding will be available too from the Chalet staff, ensuring you discover the best piste and powder runs. CLUB HABITAT
Just 250m from Kirchberg town centre with its bars, restaurants etc, the Club has loads of character and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It has an in-house sauna, lounge/TV room, internet access, telephone/fax facilities and ski service. The Club bar charges the cheapest prices in the area and the Club staff have promised to do whatever it takes to ensure you have a great stay!
The accommodation is basic but comfortable and cosy, with rooms for 2 to 6 people (all singles). There are washbasins in all rooms and shared bathroom facilities. Meals are exactly what you want - tasty and plenty of it! A buffet breakfast is served every day and the three course evening meals are substantial.
APRES SKI
Tessa's job is to make sure everyone has a great time with a varied programme of events, some of which will be free, including a Quiz night, Austrian games night (nail-bashing, pyramids, drinking games etc) and the Farewell Party. For a supplement a lot of other activities will be available too, such as Austrian 9-pin bowling, snow tubing, night skiing/boarding under flood-lights, rodelling (tobogganing!) etc. BOOK NOW!You can choose from 2 weeks around Easter 2005, with 8 days of skiing and boarding included! We will arrange pick-ups between Leeds and Dover to suit the majority of people in each region. You will be notified of the pick-up locations and times at least 10 days before the trip. Minimum Age: Whatever you get up to we are not going to take responsibility for you or your actions. Skiing and snowboarding are by their nature dangerous sports so by coming on this holiday you accept full responsibility for yourself. (Wear a helmet on the mountain!) We are happy for people aged 16 or 17 years to come on this holiday provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult, but unfortunately we cannot accept anyone aged under 16 years... sorry!
Insurance: We hope it won't happen but it might - if you require medical attention or need to be helicoptered off a mountain somewhere you will be faced with massive costs. Snowsports insurance is therefore essential. Do not come on this trip (or go on any snowsports holiday) without it!
The "added value" extras are where sponsors like Dark Summer, LINE Skis, SoulX and others come in - we will have the latest skis for you to test, pro riders/coaches to help you progress your riding, and Dark Summer to report on and photograph your trip. What's the price? The price is £445 per person for coach travel to and from Club Habitat, half board accommodation and all the extras. (Ski pass, ski and boot hire etc are not included but will be available on arrival at the best possible prices. Arrange your snowsports insurance before coming out.) Plus... thanks to the construction this Summer of the most spectacular 3-cable Gondola Cable-Car system in the world taking just 11 minutes to transfer 2.5km, you will be one of the first to ski or board the "Giant Ski Safari" in both directions from Kitzbuhel.
This accommodation rocks like the mountains around it. Situated in Kirchberg near Kitzbühel in Tyrol, the famous 'Club Habitat' offers everything needed for a brilliant holiday.
When the sun goes down you can always continue skiing under floodlights... but if you're ready to party then the Club Habitat bar is one of the most popular nightspots in town and is especially proud of its long list of unusual cocktails.
Club Habitat's own activities coordinator, Tessa, will host the welcome meeting on our arrival taking care of ski passes, ski hire, ski lessons etc.
Executive coach transport is included - the Dark Summer Kitz bus (with TV, air con etc) will pick up at various points south to Dover from Leeds and carry you overnight to Austria. By using a coach we can add a day of skiing/boarding and keep the costs down but if you prefer to organise your own transport no problem, deduct £50 from the total price and aim to arrive on Saturday 26 March or Saturday 2 April depending on which week you opt for.
Room Allocations: Rooms are for 2 to 6 people and will be allocated to individuals and groups on a first come, first served basis. You are very welcome to travel on your own (we will allocate you to a room with someone else of the same sex, similar age) - we guarantee you will make new friends with the Tourparty staff, Pro riders and other guests in no time! If travelling with friends please put the names of the people you would like to share a room with on your booking form.
