TOURPARTY LAUNCH FEBRUARY 2008 AUTUMN HALF-TERM CAMP IN LAAX, SWITZERLAND

JUST ANNOUNCED - BOOKING NOW OPEN... ...places already going fast... Tourparty are running a Spring February (Half-term) Camps in Laax, Switzerland in 2008!

Camp dates: Sunday 10 February to Sunday 17 February 2008 and Sunday 17 February to Sunday 24 February 2008.

The Camps, sponsored by LINE Skis and Burton, look like being great value... open to adults and to young skiers (and snowboarders) aged 10 to 18 years. Fully residential and non-residential places are available. They offer excellent coaching and a fantastic week's skiing guaranteed! (Tourparty Ski and Snowboard Camps run alongside each other, so skiers and snowboarding friends can go out with Tourparty and have fun together on and off the mountain!)

We are very excited to be working with Tourparty to offer this special venue and location and it is likely that places will sell out quickly. There are many good reasons why Laax is regarded as a European freestyle mecca, hosting competitions like the Orage European Freeski Open (skiing), the Burton European Open (snowboarding), the BRITS (skiing and snowboarding) and the FIS World Championships (skiing). Infact you may already have been there "virtually" as Laax was featured in the Xbox Snowboarding Game, Amped 2, in 2004 and then in the sequel Amped 3 on the Xbox 360 in 2005.

Flims/Laax offers over 220km of varied pistes in 3 linked areas, with three half-pipes including the biggest Superpipe in Europe and a world-class snow park. The whole of the Plaun slope is turned over to slopestyle features, creating a great snow park with lots of boxes and mailboxes, tree skiing, the World Cup course and a great black run off the summit of Cassons. Whether you are a jibber or park monkey, back country cruiser or freeride addict, Laax has something to offer everyone. The lift system is excellent too, with a capacity of over 40,000 per hour and queuing mostly limited to the weekends.

You do not have to be a Pro skier to attend the February 2008 Tourparty Camp! Tourparty Camps are for everyone who can ski but want to progress their skiing. As long as you are a confident skier able to cope with red runs easily, have a positive friendly attitude and want to learn and help others learn, you will be at home at Tourparty, learn loads and have a great time! However good or inexperienced you are when you arrive our Coaching team will take you to the next level!

(By the way, if you are planning to compete in the BRITS, Orage European Freeski Open or any other competitions in Europe in February/March 2008 there can't be any better preparation than spending a week with the Tourparty coaches in Laax!)
