TriBoost offers an opportunity for triathlon athletes of all ages (from 14+ years), of all levels (from novice to elite) and from anywhere in the world, to receive expert Coaching in the key skills and techniques necessary to achieve full potential in triathlon, ironman and duathlon competition:

During the week-long TriBoost Camp our expert Coaches will analyse your style and method in each key area and help you change your bad habits, learning the ideal techniques you need to take your training and race performance to the next level.

The emphasis will be on analysis and review, not hard training.

The TriBoost Triathlon Camp is an opportunity to take time out of your normal schedule to focus on the key elements of your training programme under the instruction of experienced athletic coaches and triathletes who know what it takes to achieve excellence.

Achieving personal best times and ultimately winning competitions is not only about physical strength and endurance, it is also about style, technique, planning, psychology, physiology, mental strength and much more.

It is essential at least once a year to take time to address all of these factors and establish new training processes and programmes for the year ahead.

Along the way you will learn from other athletes on the Camp and make lots of new friends, sharing common experience and your passion for the sport. (Participants in our Camps usually stay in touch with those they meet during the week long after the Camp has finished.)

The TriBoost Triathlon Camp is also a great holiday. We stay in the comfortable La Belle Etoile Hotel run by Enrica and her team, with full access to its amenities (which include a jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool and tennis court) and all the facilities of the Les Deux Alpes resort. There are also plenty of good bars, restaurants and nightclubs if you are aged over 17 years and want to really let your hair down (and Enrica can get you VIP treatment!).

Outside of the training, analysis and classroom sessions there will be time for rest and relaxation in the mountain environment, a chance to enjoy the clean air and multi-activities and sports available in Les Deux Alpes and the surrounding area.

There is even an opportunity to practice your language skills by attending optional sessions run by our Foreign Language Summer School - whether french or english (if english is not your first language - the Camp language is english basic reading and conversational english is required) or french.

(Our Skiing, Snowboarding, Mountain Biking, Multi-activity and Triathlon Summer Camps all take place at the same time, in the same locations as do our Skiing and Snowboarding Winter Camps... so friends and family receive coaching in different sports while having a holiday together.)

We are in the process of planning the 2008 TriBoost Camps and will be publishing full information here soon. Full-residential and non-residential packages will be available (with care and supervision included for anyone aged 14 years to 17 years attending without their parents).

We are planning three TriBoost Camps in Les Deux Alpes, France over Summer 2008:

• 12th July - 19th July 2008
• 19th July - 26th July 2008
• 26th July - 2nd August 2008*

* Those attending the TriBoost Triathlon Camp from 26 July to 2 August 2008 have the opportunity to compete during the week in the Vaujany Triathlon - Alpe d'Huez just a short drive from Les Deux Alpes, please see the information below.

VAUJANY TRIATHLON - ALPE D'HUEZ

The organisation team are hard at work preparing the 2008 Triathlon Alpe d'Huez taking place in an amazing mountain landscape over some breathtaking courses. The programme comprises:

• Tuesday 29th July 2008 - Kid's Triathlon & day at Alpe d'Huez
• Wednesday 30th July 2008 - Vaujany - Alpe d'Huez's Long Distance Triathlon
• Thursday 31th July 2008 - Vaujany - Alpe d'Huez's Olympic Distance Triathlon.

Swimming Course: The swimming part will take on the clear water of the EDF du Verney Lake in Vaujany. The water is cool (16° to 17°, 60 to 63°F) but you won't notice!

Cycling Course: The shorter races take a lap round the lake and then progress to Vaujany, a 5km climb at very steep gradient that does not offer any rest time.

For the longer races the course takes athletes through the famous 21 turns of the Alpe d'Huez. The long distance triathlon is over 115km in the heart of the mountain building up to the 21 turns.

Running Distance: As with the Cycling course, the race courses differ depending on the distance and the extent of the climb from 1850 and 2000 meters above see level culminating in Alpe d'Huez itself.
