LANGUAGE SUMMER CAMP FOR SPORTS, ACTIVITIES AND THE CHANCE TO IMPROVE YOUR SPOKEN ENGLISH, FRENCH OR SPANISH...
ENGLISH LANGUAGE, FRENCH LANGUAGE AND SPANISH LANGUAGE TEACHING, TUTORING AND CLASSES ON SUMMER HOLIDAYS AND SUMMER CAMPS IN FRANCE AND SPAIN (EUROPE)
We run residential and non-residential Multi Activity and Multi Sports Summer Camps for young people and adults lasting one week or more. Our Youth Residential Camps offer full supervision and care so individuals and friends can attend without parents or guardians. The Camps provide expert coaching in different multi-activities (from snowsports to watersports, from golfing and archery to trampolining and volleyball) and in a range of sports (from skiing, snowboarding, triathlon and mountain biking to basketball, football, soccer and inline hockey).
Now, in response to many requests, we are offering language tutoring in conversational English, French and Spanish as an optional extra on our Summer Camps in France and Spain each year, alongside the main Multi-activities and Sports coaching...

ENGLISH OR FRENCH LANGUAGE CLASSES IN LES DEUX ALPES, FRANCE
 SUMMER CAMPS 2008: DirtTribe (Mountain Biking), MuTribe (Multi-Activities & Multi-Sports), Tourparty (Skiing & Snowboarding) and TriBoost (Triathlon)
All our Camps run alongside each other so friends and family can attend different Camps and/or have their own holiday at the same time, spending time together when not receiving expert coaching in their favourite sports - mountain biking, muti-activities, skiing, snowboarding and/or triathlon.
While attending any of our Les Deux Alpes Summer Camps you also have the option of attending special english and french foreign language tutoring classes offered by our Summer Camp Language School.
Our qualified English & French Language Tutors/Teachers provide extra language coaching for anyone who wants help with their conversational english and spanish over the week or more they are on Camp.
This is not like going on a normal language school or language exchange programme where you are stuck in a classroom all day with lots of other foreign students who don't speak english or french as their first language either... or where you are left hanging around some foreign town all day getting bored!
 Our language classes are not about cramming vocabulary and rote learning etc, as that is something you can do at school, college or home over a longer period.
Instead the small classes are focused on helping you gain confidence in using what you have already learned, while also helping you learn some new words/expressions from your fellow Campers, and providing clarification/understanding when needed.
The whole purpose is to help you improve your fluency and enjoy using the language etc etc...
IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH - SUMMER CAMP LANGUAGE CLASSES:
 The common language on the Camp is english and the majority of those attending the Camp (including all staff) speak good english, so if english is not your first language our Camps provide an excellent opportunity for you to have a great holiday doing the sport(s) you love while meeting lots of other players/riders from all around the world, and practicing your english too with total confidence and in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.
Yes, on our Camps you get the best of both worlds! You have the oppportunity to practice your conversational english with people of the same age who share your interests, and the chance to do the sports you love in a fantastic mountain environment!
 With everyone speaking english anyway during the Camp you don't have to sign-up to extra english language classes to practice your spoken english. But if you want to take things a stage further and really develop your english quickly it might help you to take some extra english conversation classes during your Camp.
The english conversational classes take place daily during the Camp and do not normally interfere with the main sports coaching activities. They take place at times when everyone is normally free or relaxing, so you don't miss out on anything.
The english classes last 1 or 2 hours a day (6-12 hours per week) and are available at an extra cost.
They focus on spoken english, helping you gain in confidence, helping you better understand the english you are learning and helping you expand your vocabulary in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
Outside of the language classes the English/French Tutors will be participating in the sports and activities too...
So you can always ask them to explain something while they practice their slam dunk, their spot kicking and their penalty shoot outs!
How To Book
- Six 1 hour sessions over the week cost £45.
- Six 2 hour sessions over the week cost £75.
The prices are per week. You can book your place on the English classes after you have booked your place on a particular Summer Camp (choose the Camp you want to attend and then add the optional language classes).

 With our Camps taking place in Les Deux Alpes, France it would be a pity not to practice your french while in the resort, if you have some basic knowledge.
So if french is a second language for you and you want to take some conversational french language classes and have the support of a french language teacher too during your stay in Les Deux Alpes, no problem!
