TOURPARTY LAUNCH FEBRUARY 2008 AUTUMN HALF-TERM CAMP IN LAAX, SWITZERLAND
LINE UK Pro skiers and members of Mountain Command made the podium at the BRITS home during the week-long British Ski Championships recently held in Laax, Switzerland. Murray Buchan, Andy Bennett, James Machon, Josh Birch, Tom Coe and Claire Hughes impressed everyone with their riding and podium spots at what was an impressive showcase for the booming British freeski scene.
No question the UK now has young riders who can not only demonstrate their talent nationally but also compete internationally, as Murray and James went on to prove with their subsequent performances at the FIS World Juniors and Orage European Freeski Open. Our Norwegian sponsored skier Gaute Haaker has also been doing well in comps and only just missed qualification for the finals at the Orage Open.
