www.aimseries.com - home of the main British Freestyle Skiing Championships (the "Brits") held in Laax, Switzerland each year, and also of the UK freestyle competition tour held over the Summer at artificial slopes around Britain. The site is run by Stu, Spencer and the rest of the team at Soul Sports (www.soulsports.co.uk). If you want to get involved in the thriving UK freestyle skiing scene, watch the action and perhaps compete too, start here.

www.allaboutthealps.com - offering tourist information and business guides, this site sets out to provide news and event details for resorts accross the Alps, as well as visitor information and guides covering town info, transportation, accommodation etc.

www.befsa.com - BEFSA is a nonprofit organization established in 1998 by a group of Bulgarian freeskiers to develop and popularize the freeskiing sport in Bulgaria, as well as to represent the needs and interests of the Bulgarian freeskiing community. With a lot of useful news, resort and mountain advice and information and insights into the Bulgarian scene, this is well worth visiting if you are tempted to head east.

Freeski Tour Logo 150www.britishsnowtour.com - the successor to the old AIM Series and also run by Soul Sports (the team behind the Brits), the new "British Snow Tour" hopes to create new breeding grounds for emerging talent and continue to provide a path from grass roots participation through to international competition. There are competitions taking place around the UK in September, October and November, culminating in the Brits in March 2008. Visit the website for everything you need to know to participate or spectate.

www.darksummer.co.uk - Dark Summer is the quality core freestyle ski magazine available free in the UK from most snowsports shops and produced by Daniel and Zack through the Winter... the online version has a thriving forum area plus news, gallery, movie clips, profiles etc.

www.doglotion.com - funky, interesting, colourful US site for the freeskiing community, with resort info, blogs, articles, vids, pics, gear, links etc.

www.fallline.co.uk - Fall Line is the freeskiing magazine for the UK scene, available from most good newsagents... the website version offers news, vids, pics, gear reviews, travel etc.

www.feedthehabit.com - a USA site from the Utah Backcountry, for powder skiers and mountain bikers with gear reviews, resort news, videos, photos and commentary.

www.freeride.se - jam packed Scandinavian site for freeride skiers and snowboarders with articles, news, forums etc. Great use of photos and a log-in area for members.

www.freeskiing.co.uk - friendly site for freeskiers by the MacKay brothers and Thorburn (?!) with features, forum, vis, pics, team news etc.

www.freeskimag.com - newsy, information, fun site for Scandinavian freestyle and freeride skiers, with event info and reports, video, calendar etc.

www.irishsnowboarder.com - community site providing a home for Irish snowboarders all over the world and promoting the sport of snowboarding in Ireland but also of use to skiers with loads of useful information - resort info, snow reports, webcams, news and views, fun stuff, gear reviews, techniques guides etc. Registration is free.

www.j2ski.com - an informative site, full of useful facts, figures and contact details. Did you know there are 789 resorts in Europe? No, we didn't either. Use the site for snow reports, snow forecasts, information on resorts around the world, airport info, travel planning, ski chat and resort jobs etc.

www.lineskis.co.uk - the core freestyle and freeride ski brand of choice, LINE has a rock solid range of skis which look great, perform brilliantly and withstand punishment... they also supply clothing and accessories too... www.maxlifestyle.net - a network of websites that deals with extreme sports etc, with a link through to the "ABC of Skiing" site at www.abc-of-skiing.com packed full of information from news and technique guides to gear and holiday/travel services, plus a Community area with lots of special features like myspace layouts and downloads.

www.mysnowsports.com - mostly UK/European focussed skiing site with the fun slogan "going downhill fast"! Has blogs and forums for skiers to exchange news, especially industry/resort news, comments, opinions etc. You can register and generate your own content etc.

www.mysticfreeride.com - very happening Italian site for people who like to ride snow, water and dirt... full of event information and news, pics, tour and team info etc.

www.natives.co.uk - the number 1 site for anyone looking for work in a ski resort (and also year round resort work), packed full of the latest news, event information, snowcams, equipment information, links etc. Well maintained and kept bang up to date by the Natives team.

www.newschoolers.com - this is the dogs bollocks site for freestylers / newschool... membership has doubled in just two years with nearly 100,000 members around the world, though mostly North America... full of the latest news, articles, features, gossip and loads of forums and postings, this is where the industry and riders come together to share their passion for skiing. You can access it as a guest or register.

www.pistehors.com - grew out of a webpage about the La Grave ski area which went online in February 1998. It's a site dedicated to freeride and extreme skiers, with interesting news and information, comment and chat for those who love to charge off-piste and cruise the backcountry.

www.skiandsnowboardmag.com - the website for the Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard magazine available from most UK newsagents, the website offers recent articles from the magazine, news, events, advertising info, lifestyle, gear reviews etc.

www.skiclub.co.uk - the "Ski Club of GB" is working hard to shake off the image of being more "old school" than "new school" with a comprehensive website packed full of useful information from the latest news and features to snow reports, resort information, events, resort jobs, holidays, a "respect the mountain" campaign and even a new online snowsports TV channel at www.skitv.co.uk. The Ski Club are also the publishers of Ski and Board magazine available from most good UK newsagents.

www.skihomepage.co.uk - links site with a variation on the million dollar home page with an advertising "wall" of sponsor's ads, plus pages of links to sites of interest and help to skiers and snowboarders divided into different categories.

www.snow24.com - possibly the world's biggest ski resort guide, photo library and consultancy, Snow24 manages information on all the world's ski centres. Their central resource is a database of 5,700 ski centres in 80 countries, first established in 1991 and now grown to include up to 500 comparable stats on each ski area, detailed descriptive texts of the world's top 250 resorts and maps and images from the top 1,000 resorts.

www.snow365.com - billed as "the world's only comprehensive and independent indoor snow and artificial surface slope site and news feed" this site aims to give all the latest news and background information on the indoor snow domes and artificial surface (dry) ski slopes which now exist at more than 300 locations in 40 countries with new centres opening, on average, every month.

www.snowfix.com - aims to supply the latest snow forecasts, snow webcams, snowfall charts and other snow sport resources for skiers, snowboarders and anyone who loves the mountains. The latest snow data is updated four times a day.
