www.aimseries.com - home of the main British Freestyle Snowboarding Championships (the "Brits") held in Laax, Switzerland each year, and also of the UK freestyle competition tour held over the Summer at artificial slopes around Britain. The site is run by Stu, Spencer and the rest of the team at Soul Sports (www.soulsports.co.uk) who also run the Snowboard Club www.snowboardclub.co.uk. www.allaboutthealps.com - offering tourist information and business guides, this site sets out to provide news and event details for resorts accross the Alps, as well as visitor information and guides covering town info, transportation, accommodation etc.

Snowboard Tour Logo 150www.britishsnowtour.com - the successor to the old AIM Series and also run by Soul Sports (the team behind the Brits), the new "British Snow Tour" hopes to create new breeding grounds for emerging talent and continue to provide a path from grass roots participation through to international competition. There are competitions taking place around the UK in September, October and November, culminating in the Brits in March 2008. www.h2o.ro - Romanian "portal de sporturi extreme" packed full of information about freesports, from snowboarding and skiing to mountain biking, kitesurfing and skateboarding.

www.irishsnowboarder.com - community site providing a home for Irish snowboarders all over the world and promoting the sport of snowboarding in Ireland. Loads of useful information available for skiers and snowboarders - resort info, snow reports, webcams, news and views, fun stuff, gear reviews, techniques guides etc. Registration is free.

www.j2ski.com - an informative site, full of useful facts, figures and contact details. Did you know there are 789 resorts in Europe? No, we didn't either. Use the site for snow reports, snow forecasts, information on resorts around the world, airport info, travel planning, ski chat and resort jobs etc.

www.maxlifestyle.net - a network of websites that deals with extreme sports etc, with a link through to the "ABC of Snowboarding" site at www.abc-of-snowboarding.com packed full of information from news and technique guides to gear and holiday/travel services, plus a Community area with lots of special features like myspace layouts and downloads.

www.monthrag.com - one of those rare finds... a true "core" online publication with people behind it who keep it sharp, opinionated and up to date. Their philosophy is that "Snowboarding is not just about snowboarding"... they see our sport as a lifestyle choice... like us they live and breath snowboarding in so many ways and that is what they claim MonthRag is all about. Have a read of the news blog and interviews (including one with Posy Dixon, Burton Pro Snowboarder and Tourparty Easter 07 Camp coach) and check out the gallery. They welcome contributions.

www.natives.co.uk - the number 1 site for anyone looking for work in a ski resort (and also year round resort work), packed full of the latest news, event information, snowcams, equipment information, links etc. Well maintained and kept bang up to date by the Natives team.

www.onboardmag.com - the online presence for the European Snowboarding magazine "Onboard" which has it all... and is kept up to date... with plenty of information, articles, news, interviews, event details, competitions, vids and pics, downloads, blogs and podcasts etc. Also a "Trickology" section giving tips and techniques and "Snowboarding TV".

www.redprotection.com - for helmets, body protection, audex, apparel and team info from one of our sponsors, Red Protection. Don't snowboard or ski without a helmet, you need your brains in your skull... not all over the mountain!

www.skiclub.co.uk - the "Ski Club of GB" is working hard to shake off the image of being more "old school" than "new school" with a comprehensive website packed full of useful information from the latest news and features to snow reports, resort information, events, resort jobs, holidays, a "respect the mountain" campaign and even a new online snowsports TV channel at www.skitv.co.uk. The Ski Club are also the publishers of Ski and Board magazine available from most good UK newsagents.

www.snoboard.co.uk - friendly UK site comprising news, events (UK), "new talent", "best moments", history of snowboarding etc.

www.snow24.com - possibly the world's biggest ski resort guide, photo library and consultancy, Snow24 manages information on all the world's ski centres. Their central resource is a database of 5,700 ski centres in 80 countries, first established in 1991 and now grown to include up to 500 comparable stats on each ski area, detailed descriptive texts of the world's top 250 resorts and maps and images from the top 1,000 resorts.

www.snow365.com - billed as "the world's only comprehensive and independent indoor snow and artificial surface slope site and news feed" this site aims to give all the latest news and background information on the indoor snow domes and artificial surface (dry) ski slopes which now exist at more than 300 locations in 40 countries with new centres opening, on average, every month.

Access to the website is free. www.snowboardingtips.com - describing itself as "your complete online resource for Snowboarding information" this site is primarily one big safety message (with a push for a brand of protective gear) while also offering tips, rants, blog etc.

www.snowinfo.co.uk - this site is aimed at beginners and those still relatively new to snowboarding, and the more advanced rider thinking about going out for a season. It carries general info, has a "where to go" area, offers snow reports, images and media, news and events, links etc.

www.snowboardism.com - provides tips about snowboarding, the background on snowboarding's history, snowboarding terms and easy to follow descriptions of air, ground, and jib tricks.

www.snowfix.com - aims to supply the latest snow forecasts, snow webcams, snowfall charts and other snow sport resources for snowboarders, skiers and anyone who loves the mountains. The latest snow data is updated four times a day.

www.step-on.co.uk - cool, funky, challenging site covering sport, design, music, lifestyle for snowboarders... not afraid of being controversial outside of snowboarding either, the site is one of the few true "publications online" with news, interviews, images, competitions, travel etc.

SSNZ Logo 150 50www.summersnownz.co.uk - if you are heading for New Zealand this Summer to spend their Winter hitting the snowparks, visiting the land of Orks and Hobbits and generally having an unforgettable holiday... speak to Posy Dixon (Burton snowboarder and Tourparty coach on the Tourparty Easter 07 Camp) and her friends at Summer Snow NZ. Decent accommodation is notoriously hard to find in Wanaka and many people find themselves living in crowded hostels for entire seasons... SSNZ have bagged a few of the best cottages in Wanaka so that you can avoid the tourist traps and live in a comfortable ‘home’ for your winter stay.

www.worldsnowboardguide.com - the online presence for the World Snowboard Guide (WSG), first published in 1996 by Tony Brown. The first book covered Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland... now there are over 60 countries and 1000 resorts represented... the website offers resort info, news and event details and you can register for access to more features.
