WHAT MAKES A TOURPARTY ADULT SNOWBOARDING SUMMER HOLIDAY & CAMP SO DIFFERENT?
The Tourparty Adult Summer Snowboarding Camp has grown out of our own frustration as riders with the normal package holidays and school ski trips... and the long Summer holidays spent hanging around at home killing time and looking forward to Winter!
Now you can spend a week in the best park on the best glacier with the best coaches in Europe this Summer... progressing your snowboarding on the pistes and/or perfecting your snowboarding, learning how to grind rails, hit kickers and ride through the half-pipe in one piece!
The beauty of the Tourparty Camp concept is that we offer fully residential holidays for 18+ year olds... so you can come away on your own or with friends and have an unforgettable time... snowboarding every morning, doing multi-activities in the afternoons and evenings. Non-residential places are also available.

WHO COMES ON TOURPARTY SUMMER SNOWBOARDING CAMPS AND SNOWBOARD HOLIDAYS?
We run camps and holidays throughout the year open to people of all ages, sizes and abilities. We have had people aged 10 to 50+ years old, guys and girls. We have had snowboarders who have never hit a kicker or rail or ridden in the halfpipe before ...and we have had sponsored Pro Freestyle & Freeride riders fresh from winning medals at the BRITS and other comps who want to be coached by the best and have a lot of fun too!
You do not have to be a Pro boarder to attend a Tourparty Camp! As long as you have a positive friendly attitude and want to learn and help others learn, you will be at home at Tourparty, learn loads and have a great time!
However good or inexperienced you are when you arrive our Coaching team will take you to the next level!
Each Camp lasts a week - if you want to do two or more weeks on any particular Camp, or even to mix up attending a DirtTribe and/or Tourparty Camp, that's easy - just book the weeks you want on the different Camps and we will take care of the rest - the extra night between each week will be free, we'll take care of that and all food etc too while you relax over the weekend and prepare to start your next week on Camp!

IF YOU ATTEND WITH FRIENDS CAN YOU SNOWBOARD WITH THEM, EVEN IF SOME ARE "ADULTS" AND SOME ARE "YOUTH"?
Friends or families of different ages wanting to ride together during the Camp are very welcome.
It does not matter if you are in different age categories (Adult and Youth), you can still ride each day together - assuming you are of similar ability and fitness. Just book the relevant Camp according to age and write on the booking form the names of the people you are booking with. (Family/friends on fully-residential places can share rooms too.)
We are very flexible. If you come on your own (as at least 50% of snowboarders do) we guarantee you will make loads of new friends in no time; if you come with people you know we will make sure you get to spend plenty of time together on and off the mountain. Either way we will do whatever it takes to help you have a great holiday, take your snowboarding to the next level and have lots of fun!

CAN FAMILY / FRIENDS WATCH?
Parents, family and friends are welcome to visit Les Deux Alpes at the same time as the Summer Camp and to watch you on the pistes and in the park if they snowboard and buy lift passes, alternatively they can see you participating in other activities off mountain in resort.

ABOUT LES DEUX ALPES RESORT (FRANCE) AND ACCOMMODATION & FOOD INFORMATION FOR TOURPARTY IN LES DEUX ALPES
Believe it or not, Les Deux Alpes has a bigger man-made snow park in the Summer than it does in the Winter! The park, at 3600m above sea level, is huge, covering a large area of the glacier with multiple small and big kickers, rails, boxes etc and two half-pipes. The rest of the glacier comprises pistes which are perfect for progressing your snowboarding technique and learning to ride switch (backwards) etc.
Trust us, for Summer snowboarding you will not be disappointed with the fantastic set-up in Les Deux Alpes. Add to that the awesome team of Coaches and Pro snowboarders spending the week with you, and the friendship of the other Campers, for one unforgettable Summer holiday!
Off the glacier in resort there is a huge range of facilities and activities for you to try with your new friends.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FULLY RESIDENTIAL ADULT HOLIDAY?
The Tourparty Adult Summer Snowboard Holiday and Camp is great value for money, all of the following is included in the Holiday residential price:
- 7 days of accommodation and food:
We will be staying in the Hotel La Belle Etoile and its sister hotel. We know the La Belle Etoile well, it is an excellent base with friendly staff, comfortable en-suite rooms (you will share with other participants your age and sex if attending individually) and some great facilities including table tennis and pool tables, a swimming pool and tennis court! 6 day lift pass:
Your lift pass is included in the price! This gives you full access to the mountain and to loads of activities back in resort - swimming, climbing, football, beach volley ball, mini-golf, trampolining, ice skating etc etc!- 6 days of expert instruction by our Snowboard Instruction & Coaching Team:
We have carefully selected our team of Coaches based on our personal knowledge of Pro riders and instructors in the UK and abroad developed over many years in the snowsports industry, and based on recommendations from people we respect. They share your passion for snowboarding and they love to help others learn. They also have loads of personal experience and stories from their time as Pro riders, instructors, guides, ski reps, competition organisers, judges, ski technicians etc etc. On our holidays we provide as much assistance and encouragement to everyone participating as possible, with friendly, patient instructors and staff keen to see you gain in confidence, technique and ability as quickly (and painlessly!) as possible while having lots of fun and enjoying your time in the mountains. By the end of the week you should be hugely satisfied at your progress and achievement, and we will be too! 
"Ride Progression" and "Freestyle snowboarding" all morning, every morning on the pistes and in the snow fun park on the Les Deux Alpes Glacier:
We all want as much time on snow as possible... this means an early start in the mornings to get the best of the snow conditions... we snowboard all morning on the biggest, best glacier and fun park in Europe... until it begins to turn too slushy in the Summer sun... then we head back down the mountain to review the video tapes and have a relaxing afternoon and evening doing multi-activities and waiting for the next morning and the chance to get back up the mountain! Throughout you will be accompanied by a Coach ready to give you tips, encourage you, push you and occasionally help you up or dig you out!- Video review:
Our Coaches find video review very helpful in explaining how to perform a trick successfully. NEW for 2009 we will have more video cameras and video review sessions for each group to fully exploit the benefits of this learning method. (It's also great fun seeing yourself and other members of the group in action when you get back down the mountain!); 
The chance to meet, ski with and get tips from Pro Snowboarders:
We often have Pro Snowboarders with us for the Camps - they are amazing to watch and very focused on what they do but they are also approachable, friendly and enthusiastic about helping others to improve. They have had some pretty amazing experiences, from photo shoots to making TV programmes, from riding in international competitions and exhibitions to meeting and riding with the very best boarders in the world. Whenever they are around it's a great opportunity to meet and ride with them and hear their tips;- Multi-activities programme:
Off the glacier down in resort there is a huge range of facilities and activities for you to try with your new friends in the afternoons and evening, all included. You can kill time waiting to get back on snow by trying your hand at everything from swimming and ice skating to mini-golf and trampolining, to tennis and beach volleyball, football, bowling and biking etc etc! We challenge you and your fellow Campers to take on the Coaches at anything... you haven't got a chance ;-) 
Souvenir Movie and Photographs:
In the past we have been lucky to have professional filmmaker Chris Asquith (of Regime Change Productions who made ski movies "Try.Fail.Try" and "Monolog") with us to film everyone in action. On all Tourparty Snowboard Holidays and Snowboarding Camps we have someone filming so that we can produce a mini-movie afterwards. We also have professional photographers like Rick Hutchings along to take some shots of everyone;- Prize giving:
At the end of the week we have a prize giving session to recognise the good, the bad and the downright ugly (skiing and snowboarding that is!) over the week of Tourparty! So whether you're the most improved skier or snowboarder on this awesome Summer Snowboarding Holiday and Camp, or the person who did the biggest slam, you stand a chance of going home with some swag in your bag!
The only things not included are your travel to and from the resort, your insurance and your equipment.
Any standard Winter insurance policy that includes off-piste snowboarding (in patrolled areas), evacuation from the mountain (by helicopter), medical expenses, medical evacutaion home, equipment loss or damage etc should provide sufficient cover for a Tourparty snowboard holiday and snowboarding camp but it is important to consider carefully what insurance you need and to ensure you are fully covered as snowsports are by their nature an inherently risky activity. You might try searching for a good package using a price comparison website like www.moneysupermarket.com.
If you don't have your own you can rent snowboards, boots and protective equipment in resort no problem, click on the link for information about snowboard equipment hire.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DAY NON-RESIDENTIAL ADULT CAMP?
Everything detailed above except travel to and from the resort, accommodation, breakfast and dinner, evening activities/excursions. You will need to arrive in the morning in time to leave with us, we finish in the early evening each day.

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO GET THERE?
You are free to make your own arrangements for traveling from wherever you live in the world to Les Deux Alpes in France, ideally arriving in the afternoon on the Saturday and departing the following Saturday.

We offer a special "meet and greet" service at Lyon airport, with transfers to and from Les Deux Alpes included, making attendance easy, especially for young people travelling alone or with friends - we just need flight details and will then take care of everything "door to door" from arrival at the airport at the beginning of the week to departure at the end of the week. The cost is £60 (85 EUR, $120 USD) return.
If you are arriving at Grenoble aiport local bus transfers from Grenoble airport and Grenoble town centre and railway station are also available, easy to arrange and are great value.

PRICES
The price for the fully-inclusive residential Summer Adult Holiday package is just £495 (710 EUR, $990 USD) for everything, except travel to and from resort. Or £475 (680 EUR, $950 USD) for returners and adult relatives of someone paying full price for a residential or non-residential place.
The price for day non-residents will be £295 (425 EUR, $590 USD) or £275 (395 EUR, $550 USD) for returners and adult relatives of someone paying full price for a residential or non-residential place, for a place on the Tourparty Camp, Packed Lunch and 6 day Lift Pass.
You are welcome to attend for more than one week, whether doing snowboarding for the whole time you are on Summer holiday or spending one or more weeks snowboarding, and one or more weeks skiing and/or mountain biking. There is no extra cost for the extra Saturday night's accommodation and food etc, you can have that on us, no charge! To book more than one week just complete and submit booking forms for each week you want to come on holiday and we will make all the arrangements.
If you are planning to arrive by plane into Lyon airport we can arrange your transfers to and from resort for you. The cost for our "meet and greet" transfer service from Lyon airport (with Tourparty staff) is £60 (85 EUR, $120 USD) return.

(We welcome bookings from all over the world. We require payment in GB Sterling and for this reason we charge credit and debit cards etc and request bank transfers and cheques (checks) in the GB Sterling price of the holiday. However to help international participants with pricing we have also given prices in EURO and US Dollars where possible (calculated according to the exchange rate on 10 September 07). These alternative currency prices are a guide only, the exchange rate may differ when you book.)

BOOKING TERMS

By booking places on the Tourparty Summer 2008 Snowboard Holidays and Camps you agree to these conditions which include:
- The Tourparty Adult Summer Snowboarding Holiday & Camp 2008 is open to men and women aged 18+ years from any country. The main language for coaching during the Camp is English.
- Before travel you must hold a valid passport and, if not an EU national, have the necessary visa to enter France (if one is required). We cannot accept responsibility for the costs arising if permission to travel is refused due to lack of necessary documentation.
We regret we cannot reserve places without a completed booking form and deposit/payment. (In the event of cancellation after 1 June 2008 a £250 (360 EUR, $500 USD) cancellation fee will be retained to cover administration and cancellation costs, the remainder will be refunded in full).- Places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We cannot accept any more riders once these places have been fully allocated.
- We reserve the right to change any aspect of the Summer Camp without warning, provided it does not change the nature and spirit of the trip.
- In the unlikely event we are forced to do so, we reserve the right to cancel the Camp; in such circumstances we will give as much notice as possible and a full refund on or before the start date of the Camp. We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred and recommend you take travel insurance.
