INFORMATION ON MULTI-ACTIVITY & MULTI-SPORTS OPTIONS
BOOKING STEP 1 - WHAT MULTI-ACTIVITIES DO YOU WANT TO DO DURING YOUR HOLIDAY?

 MuTribe's residential and non-residential multi-activity holiday & multi-sport Camp packages offer a wide range of different activities with coaching and instruction, fun and friendship.
These international holidays and Camps have been designed to suit everyone - individual young people of all ages from 10+ years to 17 years, groups of friends and families - from anywhere in the world who are looking for something a bit different to the normal Summer holidays taken with their friends, family, club, college or school. (24 hour supervision and care is provided for young people attending individually or with friends and taking the residential option.)
The common language on our holidays and camps is english but you only need basic english to participate and people of all nationalties are welcome to attend. (We also offer optional conversational language classes in english and french for those who want them.)
 During each one week MuTribe Camp we offer a wide choice of multi-activities and multi-sports for you to try.
Each activity normally takes a morning or an afternoon but you might like to spend a whole day on your favourite activities or sports.
For example you might spend Sunday morning playing golf or beach volleyball or tennis and the afternoon swimming or trampolining or ice skating.
On the Monday you might spend all day at the Adventure Parc or at the lake or on the river.
On the Tuesday you might try skiing or snowboarding or mountain biking and have a go at the Luge or archery or beach volleyball in the afternoon.... and so on!
In the evenings you might try your luck in a Pool tournament, or 10 Pin Bowling or playing football or basketball or table tennis or just relaxing watching a film or playing Playstation... followed by a crepe or donut as a late night snack at one of the take-aways in town.
The many activities available on a MuTribe Camp include:
MUTRIBE OPTIONS
 ADVENTURE PARC - Situated in a natural wooded environment, Adventure Parc is paradise for those who love to climb, swing, fly! There are 26 stations to work through, with monkey bridges, Tyroleans, Tarzan leaps, suspended ladders and trapezes, which can all be explored safely with the support of the Park's staff and with helmets and safety ropes... not to say it isn't still a challenge to move through the trees far above the ground, especially the (completely optional!) bunjee jump from the 15 metre high tower. We spend a day at the Adventure Parc, with a picnic lunch on-site.
ARCHERY - Les Deux Alpes has two archery fields so there is a lot of opportunity for you to put your Robin Hood archery skills to the test and see if you can knock an apple off your Coach's head! (We're kidding!) It's great fun and who knows, perhaps with the help of one of our Coaches who happens to be a former Archery World Champion you could soon be on the way to winning gold at the next Olympics!
 BASKETBALL - How well can you slam dunk?! If you love to shoot a few hoops then there is a big choice of courts around the resort with lots of people ready to take you in pick-up games.
BEACH VOLLEYBALL - Beach volleyball is a great laugh and we always have a lot of fun playing it, while managing to keep the locals amused with our "style" and "skill"! Okay, so there isn't a beach and it's not quite Top Gun (watch the movie and you'll know what we mean) but there is a lot of sand and a net and in the hot Summer sun it always makes for a great afternoon! We normally have some kind of informal mini-competition between different teams of assorted ages and sizes but if beach volleyball is your thing and you want to show off your skills don't worry, there are plenty of good players in resort ready to take you on!
CANOEING - Canoeing and other watersports are available on the nearby Lac de Chambon. We will spend some time there during the Camp so if you ever fancied trying your hand at staying afloat in a sailing boat, canoe or pedalo here's your chance!
ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES - We have a qualified English & French Language Tutor/Teacher on our Les Deux Alpes Summer Camps (we offer English & Spanish on our Barcelona Summer Camps) to provide extra language coaching in our special "Spoken English Language School" available to anyone for whom english is a second language. The common language on the Camp is english and the majority of those attending the Camp (including all staff) speak good english, so if english is not your first language our Camps provide an excellent opportunity for you to have a great holiday doing the sport(s) you love while also practicing your english too; on our Camps you have the perfect opportunity to combine the perfect english language school with the ideal Summer Camp & Holiday, making new friends from the UK, Europe and all over the world! The optional english language classes are offered to help you really develop your english quickly. They will last 1 or 2 hours a day - you will not miss out on any Camp activities etc - and are available at an extra cost. Click on the link for more information about our English Language School.
 5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL - Ready to take on the Coaches in a game of 5-a-side soccer? We'll have a mini-tournament during the Camp and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to have a kick-about with others on the Camp and with locals. It may not be Wembley, Nou Camp or the Stade de France but the competition can get just as heated!

GOLF - Golf is always popular with everyone having a good time trying their hand at hitting the ball around the 9 hole course with the minimum number of strokes... of course it's not easy and it's always funny seeing how everyone does! The course is on the lower slopes of the mountain leading up from Les Deux Alpes, making for a spectacular setting for your round!
JACUZZI & SAUNA - Okay, strictly speaking not a "multi-activity" as such because spending an afternoon in the Hotel jacuzzi is probably going to leave you looking like a shrivelled prune! However at the end of a day trying different sports there is nothing better than relaxing in the Hotel's own jacuzzi and sauna, free for all participants on Camp!
ICE GLIDERS - These are funny... you remember the bumper cars in fun fairs and theme parks - where you drive around a circuit bashing into your friend's cars? This is the same thing... but on an ice skating rink! Take a spin with MuTribe!
ICE SKATING - Les Deux Alpes has a big outdoor ice skating rink - we have a lot of fun charging about and trying to stay upright... there are always one or two guys or girls who know what they're doing on ice skates, the rest of us just try to keep out the way!
 LUGE - Everybody loves the Luge! It's one step up from riding a tray or bag down a snow slope! Climb on board the luge and hold on tight as you hurtle down the banked turns, straight sections and humps... laughing all the way. (Don't worry, you have full control with a manually operated braking system.) There are 2 different luge runs: 1 high speed, 592m long with a 115m drop and 1 slower, 610m and with a 116m drop! Good news, you won't have to climb all the way back up the hill for your next run - you and your luge are carried back up to the start by a two-seat chair lift!
 MOUNTAIN BIKING - Les Deux Alpes is a mecca for mountain biking with features and facilities for every style of riding, from downhill to freeride, bike park, dirt, slopestyle, cross-country and race country... which is why we run our DirtTribe Mountain Biking Summer Camp in the resort in conjunction with our Tourparty and MuTribe Camps. But you don't have to be an expert mountain biker to enjoy the mountain on two wheels. With a Coach to guide us and bikes and protective equipment supplied by one of the specialist mountain bike shops in the resort. We have had a lot of fun going mountain biking together on the easier downhill runs for a morning or afternoon or all day. Don't miss out on this unforgettable experience!
PEDALO - Pedalo and other watersports are available on the nearby Lac de Chambon. We will spend some time there during the Camp so if you ever fancied trying your hand at staying afloat in a sailing boat, canoe or pedalo here's your chance!
 POOL - Maybe Pool (similar to Snooker) is your thing? If you are a secret Pool shark there will be plenty of opportunity to hustle fellow campers and locals during our Camp Pool tournament held in Smokey Joes one evening during the week. Before the tournament you can get plenty of practice on the Pool table in the Hotel Reception area.
ROCK CLIMBING - In the middle of Les Deux Alpes is a 30 metre high climbing rock with 3 faces and over 45 routes for beginners or hardened climbers (3C to 6C). You can spend the morning or afternoon testing yourself against the rock under the expert eye of mountain guides.
SAILING - Sailing and other watersports are available on the nearby Lac de Chambon. We will spend some time there during the Camp so if you ever fancied trying your hand at staying afloat in a sailing boat, canoe or pedalo here's your chance!
SKATE PARK - At the foot of the slopes in the middle of the resort there is a fully equipped Skatepark for skaters of all levels. If you love to board or skate bring your skateboard or inline skates with you on Camp with you can enjoy the quarterpipes, ramps, fun boxes, pyramid, beryl bank etc - everything you need to get your kicks!
SWIMMING - Our Hotel has its own swimming pool and we also use the resort's own large heated outdoor pools to relax, play water polo and generally take it easy in the Summer sun. (Of course if you prefer to relax by the side of the pool that's fine too!)
 TABLE TENNIS - The Hotel has its own Table Tennis table available to guests so if hitting a small bouncy ball is your thing you can do it to your hearts content! We will have a mini-tournament during the Camp so get practicing!
TENNIS - Our Hotel has a Tennis Court so tennis is an option dawn to dusk and there are also over 15 synthetic grass tennis courts in the resort. Whether you are a serious player wanting a full game with a tennis partner who shares your passion for the sport, or a casual player just wanting to have some fun smashing the ball around with friends, you will not be disappointed.
10 PIN BOWLING - One evening during the Camp we will try our luck at 10 Pin Bowling in the local Bowling Alley, which also has Pool Tables and video games. This is your chance to take on the Coaches!  Whether you are a 10 Pin addict or new to ten pin bowling you're guaranteed a fun time pitting yourself against the lanes, your fellow Campers and your Coaching team.
TRAMPOLINING - How high can you go, and how many times can you somersault on the way down?! Whether you just like to bounce or you were born to spring high and pull spectacular trick moves before gravity regains its grasp on you, Trampolining is always fun and our instructors are on hand to help you perfect your air routine.
WINDSURFING - Windsurfing and other watersports are available on the nearby Lac de Chambon. We will spend some time there during the Camp so if you ever fancied trying your hand at staying afloat in a sailing boat, canoe or pedalo here's your chance!
 OPTIONAL EXTRAS
During MuTribe you can also try other activities which cost a bit extra and may have age restrictions:
BUNJEE JUMPING - This is the big one! If the 15 metre bunjee tower at Adventure Parc is too small for you then you have the option of throwing yourself off the Les 2 Alpes gondola lift instead, 140m above the ground! (Preferably with a bunjee cord tied to your feet!) The guys who run this activity promise "an adrenalin rush that you will never forget followed by a dizzying drop in complete safety!". It costs extra so its an optional activity with MuTribe.
CANYONING, HOT DOG, HYDROSPEED & RAFTING - In the valley below Les Deux Alpes there are some fantastic high speed, high adrenaline watersports for you to try in the fast rivers feed by the water running off the mountains,. If you don't mind getting your feet, and the rest of your body, wet and are happy to pay the extra cost we will make all the arrangements for you and fellow water rats to spend a half day or day messing about in the river!
 PAINTBALLING - If you love running around, diving behind obstacles and working your way towards an enemy stronghold with your team, while shooting at people with paint pellets and dodging them yourself - this is for you! Les Deux Alpes has its own paintballing area with all the equipment needed. The only issue is that Paintballing is not cheap and there are age restrictions, so we run it as an optional extra activity.
RELAXATION - For those who fancy a less active, more relaxing holiday, Les Deux Alpes offers a wide range of well-being and relaxation activities to help you unwind. Relaxation options include steam baths, sauna, health courses, slimming cures, massages, gym, body building, fitness, cardio training, solarium, aquagym and more!
QUAD BIKING - If you prefer four wheels, preferably powered by an engine, there is a safe Quad circuit adapted for young people of all ages with vehicles of different capacities and several race tracks.
 SKIING - If you know how to ski and would like to experience the unusual sensation of skiing in the middle of Summer on a glacier then our Tourparty Coaches will be happy to arrange equipment hire for you and to take you up the mountain with the Tourparty campers for a morning on the glacier's pistes and also in the freestyle park if you want.
SNOWBOARDING - If you know how to snowboard and would like to experience the unusual sensation of boarding in the middle of Summer on a glacier then our Tourparty Coaches will be happy to arrange equipment hire for you and to take you up the mountain with the Tourparty campers for a morning on the glacier's pistes and also in the freestyle park if you want.
