WHO COMES ON TOURPARTY SKIING CAMPS AND SKI HOLIDAYS?
We run camps and holidays throughout the year open to people of all ages, sizes and abilities. We have people aged 10 to 50+ years old, guys and girls. We have skiers who have never skied, skiers wanting to progress from blue runs to red runs, and from red runs to black runs. We have skiers who want to learn how to cope with moguls or to hit a kicker or rail or ride through the halfpipe in one piece, or float through powder and ski the backcountry ...and we have sponsored Pro Freestyle & Freeride riders fresh from winning medals at the BRITS and other comps who want to be coached by the best and have a lot of fun too!
You do not have to be an advanced or Elite skier to attend a Tourparty Camp! However good or inexperienced you are when you arrive our team of Coaches and Instructors will take you to the next level in a relaxed, fun way at your pace! Tourparty Camps are for everyone. As long as you have a positive friendly attitude and want to learn and help others learn, you will be at home at Tourparty and have a great time!
Having said that... Tourparty @ The BRITS 08 is a bit different to our normal Camps & Holidays. For the BRITS week we are not offering our full range of coaching options, from beginner to advanced. Instead we are focusing on skiercross (Ski Cross), freestyle and freeride coaching only. For this reason you will need to be an able intermediate to advanced skier, confident on red runs with some experience of black runs. You don't have to have had any experience of skiercross, freestyle or freeride (unless you want to compete in the BRITS 08 of course!) as that's what our expert Coaches are for... but if you are a beginner or relatively inexperienced skier or snowboarder we suggest you come out on one of our other Tourparty Camps first, and then join us for Tourparty @ The BRITS 09!
(By the way, if you are planning to compete in the BRITS, Orage European Freeski Open or any other competitions in Europe in February/March 2008 there can't be any better preparation than spending a week with the Tourparty coaches in Laax in February - check out our February Half-term Camps!)
IF YOU ATTEND WITH FRIENDS CAN YOU SKI WITH THEM, EVEN IF SOME ARE "ADULTS" AND SOME ARE "YOUTH"?
Friends or families of different ages wanting to ride together during the Camp are very welcome.
It does not matter if you are in different age categories (Adult and Youth), you can still ride each day together - assuming you are of similar ability and fitness. Just book the relevant Camp according to age and write on the booking form the names of the people you are booking with. (Family/friends on fully-residential places can share rooms too.)
We are very flexible. If you come on your own (as at least 50% of skiers do) we guarantee you will make loads of new friends in no time; if you come with people you know we will make sure you get to spend plenty of time together on and off the mountain. Either way we will do whatever it takes to help you have a great holiday, take your skiing to the next level and have lots of fun!

CAN FAMILY / FRIENDS WATCH?
Parents, family and friends are welcome to visit Laax at the same time as the Tourparty @ The BRITS 08 Camp and to watch you during the day. You can stay with us and see them during the day, or you can attend as a non-resident, staying with them overnight, spending each day with us.

ABOUT THE LAAX RESORT (SWITZERLAND) AND ACCOMMODATION & FOOD INFORMATION FOR TOURPARTY IN LAAX
We are very excited about offering this special Camp and we expect places will sell out quickly, especially as we have a very limited number of beds available for this first Tourparty @ The BRITS Camp. The Flilms / Laax resorts and ski area may not be featured in many of the big travel company brochures but there is no question that it is a hidden gem with brilliant skiing.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FULLY RESIDENTIAL ADULT SKIING HOLIDAY?
The Tourparty Adult Skiing Camp @ The BRITS 08 is great value for money, all of the following is included in the Camp residential price:

By attending this Tourparty Ski Camp you have the opportunity to watch or compete in the BRITS 08 Ski and Snowboard Championships in one or more of the competitions running during the week:
- Animal Slopestyle

- SNO!zone Half Pipe
- Trespass Snowboard / Skiercross
Competing in the BRITS 08 during the week is completely optional (and dependent on your meeting the entry criteria) and is included in the Tourparty @ The BRITS 08 Adult Skiing Camp package price along with free entry to all the BRITS 08 apres-ski events - so whether you compete or not you will get to sample and enjoy plenty of the party atmosphere with your festival wrist band.
7 days of accommodation and food:
We will be staying in the Hotel Casa Selva (Laax Murschetg), with en-suite rooms (you will share with other participants your age and sex if attending individually), full board with meals included. It is a great place to stay and will be the official residence for the BRITS staff, sponsors and some of the Pro teams. It is just a 1 minute bus ride from the lifts, comfortable, friendly and fun... with welcoming staff and a good atmosphere (see above for more information);- 6 day lift pass:
Your lift pass is included in the price! This gives you full access to the whole Films / Laax mountain area with over 220kms of skiing, lots of features and great challenges for skiers of all abilities (see above for more information). 
6 days of expert instruction by our Ski Instruction & Coaching Team:
We have carefully selected our team of Coaches based on our personal knowledge of Pro riders and instructors in the UK and abroad developed over many years in the snowsports industry, and based on recommendations from people we respect. They share your passion for skiing and they love to help others learn. They also have loads of personal experience and stories from their time as Pro riders, instructors, guides, ski reps, competition organisers, judges, ski technicians etc etc. On our holidays we provide as much assistance and encouragement to everyone participating as possible, with friendly, patient instructors and staff keen to see you gain in confidence, technique and ability as quickly (and painlessly!) as possible while having lots of fun and enjoying your time in the mountains. By the end of the week you should be hugely satisfied at your progress and achievement, and we will be too!- Skiing all day, every day across the Laax ski area:
We all want as much time on snow as possible... this means an early start in the mornings to get the best of the snow conditions... we start by skiing together as a large group to warm up and enjoy each other's company... then we divide into smaller groups depending on what you want to do for the morning - whether learn to ski or ski progression, freeride back country skiing, ski cross, half-pipe, slopestyle or rails and boxes etc - or it might be your turn to compete with the support of your coach and fellow campers. Each group has at least one Coach to give tips and share techniques, encourage and occasionally dig you out! We meet up at lunchtime and you are free to move to another group to do something different in the afternoon if you want, or to stay with your coach for the rest of the day. At the end of the day we meet up again to ski as a large group and share stories about the day before returning to the hotel to review the video tapes and have a relaxing evening either in the hotel or at the BRITS 08 events or doing an activity.

Our Coaches find video review very helpful when instructing. NEW for 2008 we will have more video cameras and video review sessions for each group to fully exploit the benefits of this learning method. (It's also great fun and very helpful seeing yourself and other members of the group in action when you get back down the mountain!);

In the past we have been lucky to have professional filmmaker Chris Asquith (of Regime Change Productions who made "Try.Fail.Try" and "Monolog") with us to film everyone in action. On all Tourparty Ski Holidays and Skiing Camps we have someone filming so that we can produce a mini-movie afterwards. We also have professional photographers like Rick Hutchings along to take some shots of everyone;- Prize giving:
At the end of the week (regardless of how the BRITS 08 has gone!) we have a prize giving session to recognise the good, the bad and the downright ugly (skiing that is!) over the week of Tourparty! So whether you're the most improved skier on this awesome Tourparty Skiing Holiday, or the person who did the biggest slam, you stand a chance of going home with some swag in your bag! - Lots of extras with freebies and goodies!

The only things not included are your travel to and from the resort, your insurance and your equipment.
Any standard Winter insurance policy that includes off-piste skiing (in patrolled areas), evacuation from the mountain (by helicopter), medical expenses, medical evacutaion home, equipment loss or damage etc should provide sufficient cover for a Tourparty ski holiday and skiing camp but it is important to consider carefully what insurance you need and to ensure you are fully covered as snowsports are by their nature an inherently risky activity. If you don't have your own you can rent skis, boots and protective equipment in resort no problem, click on the link for information about ski equipment hire.

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO GET THERE?
You are free to make your own arrangements for travelling from wherever you live in the world to Laax in Switzerland, ideally arriving in the afternoon on the Saturday and departing the following Saturday.

The cost is £55 (80 EUR, $110 USD) return.

The price for the fully-inclusive residential Tourparty @ The BRITS 08 Adult Skiing Camp 2008 package is just £445 (850 EUR, $925 USD) for everything, except travel to and from resort. Or £425 (615 EUR, $885 USD) for returners and adult relatives of someone paying full price for a residential place, Snowboard Club UK (SCUK) members and Ski Club of Great Britain members etc.
If you are planning to arrive by plane into Zurich or Friedrichshafen airports, we can arrange your transfers to and from resort for you. The cost is £55 (80 EUR, $110 USD) return, payable on booking. Alternatively you can get trains and buses from Zurich airport to Laax Murschetg.

By booking places on the Tourparty @ The BRITS 08 Adult Skiing Holiday 2008 you agree to these conditions which include:
- The Tourparty @ The BRITS 08 Adult Skiing Holiday & Camp 2008 is open to men and women aged 18+ years from any country. The main language for coaching during the Camp is English. (But please note that to compete in the BRITS 08 Ski & Snowboard Championships you must meet the entry criteria.)
- Before travel you must hold a valid passport and, if not an EU national, have the necessary visa to enter Switzerland (if one is required). We cannot accept responsibility for the costs arising if permission to travel is refused due to lack of necessary documentation.
- We regret we cannot reserve places without a completed booking form and deposit/payment. (In the event of cancellation after 1 December 2007 a £250 (360 EUR, $500 USD) cancellation fee will be retained to cover administration and cancellation costs, the remainder will be refunded in full).
- Places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We cannot accept any more riders once these places have been fully allocated.
- We reserve the right to change any aspect of the Tourparty @ The BRITS 08 Camp without warning, provided it does not change the nature and spirit of the trip.
- In the unlikely event we are forced to do so, we reserve the right to cancel the Camp; in such circumstances we will give as much notice as possible and a full refund on or before the start date of the Camp. We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred and recommend you take travel insurance.

Everything detailed above except travel to and from the resort, accommodation, breakfast and dinner, evening activities. You will need to arrive in the morning in time to leave with us. You will be finished late afternoon.

PRICES
The price for the fully-inclusive residential Spring 2008 February Half-term Adult Skiing holidays is just £595 (850 EUR, $1190 USD) for everything, except travel to and from resort. Or £575 (830 EUR, $1150 USD) for returners and adult relatives of someone paying full price for a residential or non-residential place.
The price for day non-residents will be £395 (570 EUR, $790 USD) or £375 (540 EUR, $750 USD) for returners and adult relatives of someone paying full price for a residential or non-residential place, for a place on the Tourparty Camp (Daily Coaching), Packed Lunch and 6 day Lift Pass.
You are welcome to attend for more than one week, whether doing skiing for the whole time or spending one week skiing and the other snowboarding. There is no extra cost for the extra Saturday night's accommodation and food etc, you can have that on us, no charge! To book more than one week just complete and submit booking forms for each week and we will make all the arrangements.
If you are planning to arrive by plane into Zurich or Friedrichshafen airports, we can arrange your transfers to and from resort for you. The cost is £55 (80 EUR, $110 USD) return, payable on booking. Alternatively you can get trains and buses from Zurich airport to Laax Murschetg.

(We welcome bookings from all over the world. We require payment in GB Sterling and for this reason we charge credit and debit cards etc and request bank transfers and cheques (checks) in the GB Sterling price of the holiday. However to help international participants with pricing we have also given prices in EURO and US Dollars where possible (calculated according to the exchange rate on 10 September 07). These alternative currency prices are a guide only, the exchange rate may differ when you book.)

By booking places on the Tourparty Spring 2008 Ski Holidays and Camps you agree to these conditions which include:
- The Tourparty Adult Spring Skiing Holiday & Camp 2008 is open to men and women aged 18+ years from any country. The main language for coaching during the Camp is English.
- Before travel you must hold a valid passport and, if not an EU national, have the necessary visa to enter Switzerland (if one is required). We cannot accept responsibility for the costs arising if permission to travel is refused due to lack of necessary documentation.
- We regret we cannot reserve places without a completed booking form and deposit/payment. (In the event of cancellation after 1 December 2007 a £250 (360 EUR, $500 USD) cancellation fee will be retained to cover administration and cancellation costs, the remainder will be refunded in full).
- Places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We cannot accept any more riders once these places have been fully allocated.
- We reserve the right to change any aspect of the February Camp without warning, provided it does not change the nature and spirit of the trip.
- In the unlikely event we are forced to do so, we reserve the right to cancel the Camp; in such circumstances we will give as much notice as possible and a full refund on or before the start date of the Camp. We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred and recommend you take travel insurance.

You can pay by credit / debit card, send a cheque or banker's draft for the full amount made payable to "TOURPARTY" or pay by bank wire, bank transfer or BACS - please contact us for bank details.
Please note: places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Unfortunately because of the demand we cannot hold places without a completed booking form and deposit/payment.
